Exactly 250 years ago, in 1758, MAN Group started its first production with the iron factory established in Obernhausen, Germany. Today, MAN Group is one of the world's largest companies, operating in many sectors from industrial services to machinery manufacturing, from diesel engine production to commercial vehicles. MAN, which is older than most countries' histories, is one of Europe's largest investment goods-producing companies today with a turnover of 14.4 billion euros. One of the company's most important production facilities is also located in Turkey. Operating since 1966, MAN Turkey exports its buses to 41 countries today.

It is crucial for our company that the new paint shop facility, which will be established at our Ankara factory with the most modern and environmentally friendly technologies, operates not only today but also in the future with the highest efficiency. Therefore, we worked with Dijitalis Software and Consulting Limited Company to see how the paint shop facility, which will be established, will work under various operational scenarios for the future. The company analyzed our paint shop processes and created a simulation model that we could see the whole system working. In this study, we once again saw how important simulation is in process design and process improvement efforts. Thanks to Dijitalis's value-added consultancy service, we achieved an optimized design of the paint shop facility, reaching a much more resilient system to operational risks at a much lower cost. Based on the satisfactory results of this project, we express our satisfaction with Dijitalis and hope to see similar studies increasing in the Turkish industry.
