Progressive Optimization with Detailed Scheduling

Scheduling software becomes even more crucial with Industry 4.0. While the meaning of scheduling is clear in literature, examples of scheduling vary greatly due to the unique process constraints and product characteristics of each factory. Production and supply chain processes may have very different rules and constraints. Simply prioritizing tasks with backward or forward programming logic or running the job scheduling algorithm only once may not yield good results.

As the distributor of Asprova in Turkey, our Asprova Scheduling software conducts job scheduling in a goal-oriented and customizable manner at every step.

Basic Settings for Scheduling: We need to define what we consider the best result for production scheduling. While this criterion varies from company to company, it can be defined based on goals such as increasing on-time delivery rates, reducing production time, inventory management, increasing productivity, reducing production costs, bottleneck management, and increasing OEE.

Fine-Tuning Parameters: Detailed parameter settings are optimized for each process.

Scheduling Rules: In the projects we undertake as Asprova Turkey distributor, we perform gradual sorting according to different features for each scheduling round. For example, job orders can be sorted and prioritized based on the following factors in each job scheduling round:

  • Sales orders, stock replenishment, unapproved orders, estimated orders
  • Customer segmentation
  • Resources
  • Materials
  • Order/product specifications (color, dimensions, setup change rules, input materials of product recipe, etc.)
  • Freely definable features

4. Multi-Level Logic for Scheduling: As the distributor of Asprova in Turkey, we optimize processes, sequences, and priorities with scheduling algorithms specially designed for each of our clients using multi-level logic.

  • We create special commands to optimize individual processes at each level. For example, different sorting may be required for a specific process to minimize setup times.
  • When deciding the sequence and contents of job scheduling steps, we look at the entire factory and aim to improve the overall efficiency of the factory.

5. Sequential Scheduling
We establish a management algorithm to sequentially and automatically execute the optimization steps we have created to achieve the best scheduling result.

Multi-Level Production Optimization with a Single Button: As a result of all these steps, the Planner obtains the optimal scheduling result with the push of a button. Thus, multi-level scheduling algorithms run in the background as a whole and automatically.
As the distributor of Asprova in Turkey, Dijitalis has been the solution partner of leading companies in Turkey from past to present. Shaping the future from today carries a heavy responsibility on the shoulders of planners and managers tasked with evaluating complex and dynamic industrial systems. To meet this responsibility, Dijitalis offers the world’s most advanced and powerful planning software that can examine all types of production and logistics processes.
